Reawakening from my blogspot sulkiness (or lazyness?)

I imposed myself to read that Situationist-Marxist piece of work after seeing the movie “The dreamers” from Bertolucci (wildcat strikes of May 68, et cetera) - but my intention is not to relate exhaustively any details of that visual delights, since it’s not explicitly related to the book (google is there for that).

Debord’s book is representing ze modern mass media bait; consumer culture and commodity fetishism. What appears to be the most disquieting fact in his work is that every ideas/analysis he painted, despite their cynical-pessimistic flavor, history tends to confirm it in an impeccabe perilous way.

I find it rather pop in that season of fears, inflated by horrors that media are exposing to us, tv reality gluttony, + every exhibitionist social network like the one serving me as a canvas. Thus, this is a must read. Suggestion is served.
